Know the law where you live
Rules on online betting in India are not the same everywhere, and they changed with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. Some states also have their own gambling laws. It is your responsibility to check what applies to you before you open an account or make a deposit. If you are unsure, do not play.
Set your limits before the first bet
- Decide a monthly amount you are happy to lose, and stop when it is gone.
- Never borrow, use credit or use money meant for rent, bills or family to bet.
- Set a time limit for each session and take breaks.
- Do not chase losses. A bigger bet to “get it back” usually makes it worse.
- Avoid betting when you are angry, upset or have been drinking.
If you want us to pause or close your ID, ask in your WhatsApp chat. We will not try to talk you out of it.
Warning signs
- You bet more than you planned, more often than you planned.
- You hide betting from family or lie about how much you spend.
- You feel restless or irritable when you try to stop.
- Betting is affecting your sleep, work, studies or relationships.
If two or more of these sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone.
